As part of its ongoing commitment to advancing financial literacy and inclusion across Indonesia, PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN), held a Financial Literacy and Education Program for the local community in Toba Regency. The event took place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the TB Silalahi Center Hall, Silalahi Pagar Batu, Balige.
This initiative aims to enhance public understanding of financial management while promoting inclusive access to financial services in regional areas. The event opened with a traditional tortor dance performance by Sanggar TB Silalahi, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Batak people and warmly welcoming all invited guests.
As a state-owned enterprise, BTN plays a strategic role in building long-term partnerships with regional governments. Through this program, BTN reaffirms its commitment to supporting local financial development and empowering communities through education and access to financial tools.
In addition to educational activities, BTN extended support to the local community through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Assistance included infrastructure support for GKPI Sosorniapoan Church, received by Mr. Mangido Sianturi, as well as educational funding for outstanding students.
