Jakarta, October 31, 2025 – PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) officially became the Official Bank Partner at Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2026, which carries the theme “The Legacy of Style.” BTN’s participation in the largest fashion event in Indonesia is part of the company’s commitment to support the development of the creative industry and encourage the advancement of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the national fashion sector.
As a strategic partner, BTN participates through the BTN Fashion Lab program, an initiative that brings together fashion MSMEs and Indonesian designers to create creative collaborations in the form of capsule collections displayed at the Dewi Luxe Market and Fashion Link Show. This program represents BTN’s real support in opening access to financing, improving financial literacy, and strengthening the capacity of creative players so they can compete at the national and international levels.
BTN Corporate Secretary Ramon Armando emphasized that BTN’s participation in Jakarta Fashion Week 2026 reflects the company’s consistency in supporting the growth of the national creative economy.
“BTN consistently plays a role in encouraging the regeneration of young Indonesian designers. We believe every region has unique characteristics that can become strengths in the national fashion industry. Through proper financing and financial literacy, local creative players can compete in international markets,” Ramon said during the opening of JFW earlier this week.
CEO of GCM Group and Chairman of Jakarta Fashion Week, Svida Alisjahbana, expressed appreciation for the strategic partnership with BTN, which provides space for the regeneration of fashion players in Indonesia.
“We are proud to introduce BTN Fashion Lab, an initiative that connects MSME players with designers to create collaborative works. This initiative not only encourages the growth of the fashion industry but also brings new spirit to young Indonesian creative players,” said Svida.
Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia Widiyanti Putri Wardhana emphasized that JFW 2026 is a major celebration of the nation’s creativity and culture that has become a national pride.
“Tonight is a proud moment for all of us. The Grand Opening of Jakarta Fashion Week marks a grand celebration of the nation’s creativity and culture,” she said.
“JFW is the main stage for the creativity of the nation’s talents. This is where collaboration between tradition and innovation is born, between the richness of Indonesian traditional textiles and modern lifestyles. Young generations are increasingly loving local products because they seek authenticity, value, and sustainability. This spirit is what makes our fashion industry richer and present on the international stage,” she added.
Meanwhile, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno stated that Jakarta Fashion Week is an important platform for preserving culture and developing the creativity of the nation’s talents.
“Jakarta Fashion Week is a collaborative stage that shows our love for Indonesian textiles and the richness of regional culture. From here, works are born that bring the nation’s identity to the global stage,” he said.
