Insurance Information

Insurance Benefits

1. Non-accidental Death

100% of the Sum Assured if the death is not due to an accident.

2. Accidental Death

Compensation of up to 200% of the Sum Insured if the death is caused by an accident within 90 days after the accident occurred.

3. Critical Illness

Critical illness benefits if the Insured suffers or is diagnosed with one of the critical illnesses as listed in the List of Critical Illnesses/Conditions for three stages (early, intermediate, and late), with benefit payments between 50%-100% of the sum insured, according to the severity of the condition.

4. Premium Return Benefit

Premium returns up to 106% if there is no benefit claim or death during the active policy until the end of the insurance period.

*The Premium Return Benefit value may be adjusted periodically and the applicable benefit value is stated in the Policy, as well as applies from the purchase of the Policy until the Insurance Period of the Policy ends.

Terms

  • Complete the required documents at the nearest Bank BTN Branch Office.

  • All information, statements, and notices given are the basis for the Policy and are an integral part of the Policy.

  • The correctness and completeness of the data filling is the responsibility of the Policyholder and/or Insured.

Provisions

  • Premium Payment Obligation
    • Prospective Policyholders must pay the Premium to the Insurer following the amount of the Premium and the method of payment of the Premium as stated in the Policy.
    • Premium payment is considered valid if the Insurer receives total funds.
  • Claim Submission
    • Prepare claim documents, fill in completely, and sign the claim submission form.
    • Download the claim submission form from IFG Life's official website/media.
    • Submit all claim documents according to the claim submission requirements to the Insurer's office or directly visit the nearest Walk-in Customer & Insurer Representative Office or BTN Branch Office.
    • The Insurer receives, examines, and analyzes the submitted claim documents. To find out the claim's status, the Policyholder/Insured can contact the Call Center 1500 176 or its revised number.
    • If the claim is approved, the Insurer will pay the claim payment no later than 14 (fourteen) working days after the claim decision is approved.

Simulation I

Condition: Diagnosed with a Critical Illness and survives during the Policy Term.

  1. If Mrs. A is diagnosed with an Early Stage Critical Illness (e.g., early-stage cancer) after the Waiting Period and surviving the Survival Period, she will receive an Early Stage Critical Illness Benefit of IDR 84,000,000.
  2. If Mrs. A is later diagnosed with a Late Stage Critical Illness and has previously received an Early Stage Critical Illness Benefit, she will receive the remaining Sum Assured, reduced by the amount already paid, i.e., IDR 84,000,000.
  3. If Mrs. A survives until the end of the Policy Term but has claimed Critical Illness Benefits during the Policy Term, no Premium Refund Benefit will be payable at Policy Maturity.

Simulation II

Condition: Diagnosed with a Critical Illness and later passes away due to Non-Accidental Causes.

  1. If Mrs. A is diagnosed with a Late Stage Critical Illness and has not previously claimed Early Stage Critical Illness Benefits, after the Waiting Period and Survival Period she will receive a Late Stage Critical Illness Benefit of IDR 168,000,000.
  2. In the 6th Policy Year, if Mrs. A passes away due to illness, a Non-Accidental Death Benefit of IDR 168,000,000 will be paid. After this payment, the Policy will terminate.
  3. No Premium Refund Benefit will be payable at Policy Maturity, as the Policy ends upon the death of the Insured.

Simulation III

Condition: Diagnosed with a Critical Illness and later passes away due to an Accident.

  1. If Mrs. A is diagnosed with a Late Stage Critical Illness and has not previously claimed Early Stage Critical Illness Benefits, after the Waiting Period and Survival Period she will receive a Late Stage Critical Illness Benefit of IDR 168,000,000.
  2. In the 6th Policy Year, if Mrs. A passes away due to an Accident, an Accidental Death Benefit of IDR 336,000,000 (double the Sum Assured) will be paid. After this payment, the Policy will terminate.
  3. No Premium Refund Benefit will be payable at Policy Maturity, as the Policy ends upon the death of the Insured.

Simulation IV

Condition: No Critical Illness or Death claim during the Policy Term.
If Mrs. A has not claimed any Critical Illness or Death Benefit and the Policy remains active until the end of the Policy Term, she will be entitled to a Premium Refund Benefit at Policy Maturity (at the end of the 10th Policy Year from the Policy Commencement Date) amounting to IDR 120,000,000.
