To celebrate National Batik Day, Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) collaborated with Batik Trusmi to host an event titled “Batik Lestari: Heritage for the Earth” in Cirebon. The event was attended by BTN Director of Risk Management, Mr. Setiyo Wibowo, and brought together batik artisans and local MSMEs as part of BTN's commitment to cultural preservation and community economic empowerment.
Through a series of activities—including natural dye batik workshops, financial literacy sessions for MSMEs, and direct support for batik artisans—BTN reaffirmed its commitment to integrating sustainability values into social and cultural initiatives. The program not only focuses on preserving Indonesia's cultural heritage but also promotes environmentally friendly practices in batik production, aligned with BTN's commitment to implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
