PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) has officially launched Kick Start BTN Housingpreneur 2025, a competition aimed at identifying young innovators and entrepreneurs capable of offering creative solutions to Indonesia’s housing challenges. BTN’s Director of Risk Management, Setiyo Wibowo, highlighted that the nation’s housing backlog and low mortgage-to-GDP ratio reflect the vast potential of the housing sector.
The program promotes innovative ideas centered on eco-tech housing and sustainability while encouraging the development of new business models within the housing ecosystem. BTN’s Corporate Secretary, Ramon Armando, emphasized that BTN Housingpreneur is not only a competition but a movement to build a strong community of young housing entrepreneurs.
The launch event, held at Universitas Indonesia on Tuesday (28/10/25) attracted hundreds of participants and featured a talk show with industry experts, academics, and BTN Housingpreneur alumni. Following the event, BTN will continue its nationwide roadshow to major universities including ITB, ITS, USU, and Unhas to further expand the program’s reach.
