PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) reaffirmed its position as Indonesia’s leading bank in subsidized housing finance after successfully distributing 142,749 units of Home Ownership Loan (KPR / “Kredit Pemilikan Rumah”) Sejahtera under the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP/ “Fasilitas Likuiditas Pembiayaan Perumahan”) as of September 30, 2025. This achievement represents 64.89 percent of BTN’s annual allocation target of 220,000 units and accounts for 40.7 percent of the national FLPP quota of 350,000 units. Of the total, 99,441 units were distributed through BTN’s conventional business and 43,308 units through its sharia unit, with total financing reaching Rp17.66 trillion from the allocated Rp26.40 trillion.
BTN President Director, Nixon LP Napitupulu, emphasized that this accomplishment reflects BTN’s critical mandate to help low-income communities access decent and affordable housing. According to a study by BTN’s Housing Finance Center, owning a subsidized home significantly improves beneficiaries’ quality of life, financial stability, and sense of achievement. Notably, 88.43 percent of BTN’s subsidized mortgage recipients are millennials aged 29-44, highlighting the strong need for government-backed housing support among Indonesia’s productive age group.
As a bank that has consistently served low-income communities for more than a decade, BTN continues expanding access to housing finance for informal workers, including small traders, daily workers, and ride-hailing driver partners. Through collaborative initiatives and innovative repayment schemes, BTN ensures more Indonesian families can access decent, affordable, and sustainable housing. The bank remains committed to broadening its subsidized mortgage programs and supporting the government’s mission to improve societal welfare through homeownership.
