PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) strengthened its position as Indonesia's leading housing finance institution by disbursing 142,743 Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP/ “Fasilitas Likuiditas Pembiayaan Perumahan”) subsidized mortgage units as of September 2025, representing 81.8 percent of total national distribution. This achievement reinforces BTN's role as a key driver of the Government's Three Million Houses Program and national housing backlog reduction efforts.
During a visit to a subsidized housing project in Pasuruan, East Java, on Tuesday (14/10/2025), commissioners from Danantara Asset Management (DAM) expressed appreciation for BTN's performance. Agus Sugiarto, DAM Independent Commissioner, emphasized the importance of strong governance (GCG), transparency, and beneficiary validation. He also commended BTN's innovation in expanding mortgage access for informal workers and small entrepreneurs, which he viewed as an important contribution to national financial inclusion.
BTN also recorded strong performance in East Java, distributing 10,243 FLPP units and capturing 78.3 percent market share in the region. BTN's Director of Consumer Banking, Hirwandi Gafar, highlighted that this success was supported by close collaboration with local governments and developers, digitalization of subsidy distribution, and the rising participation of women—who accounted for 32.7 percent of subsidized mortgage beneficiaries.
BTN emphasized that housing finance not only enables homeownership but also creates a significant economic multiplier effect for local communities. As a bank mandated to support the housing sector, BTN continues to strengthen financing across both consumer and developer segments, while advancing a sustainable national housing ecosystem through BTN's Housing Finance Center, serving as a hub for learning, advisory, and research.
